Anti-Peeper Key – Useful Boss Key Utility
Imagine this situation. You are browsing the web, or composing a personal letter, or doing some other personal thing on your computer. Then a co-worker or your boss comes around; you definitely don’t want him to see what you are doing. So what do you do?
As I see it, there are two options at your disposal. You cold simply press Start + D, which will display the desktop, or you could press Start + M, which will minimize all active windows. Or you could turn to a specialized piece of software, like Anti-Peeper Key. Using this application is a much better choice because, when you minimize your active Windows, your co-worker or boss will think you're hiding something.
The program installs quickly and doesn't require much intervention from the user, as the entire operation is point and click. Anti-Peeper Key can run on every version of Microsoft Windows and has low system requirements.
The interface of the program couldn't be easier. It just features settings to change the key combination. Anti-Peeper Key works in the background, hidden away from view. What this application does is putting two desktops at your disposal. Press a key combination and you can easily switch from one desktop to another. Desktop number 1 displays your regular stuff; desktop number 2 does not display any system tray icons and, by default, it displays the Windows Explorer. Whatever window you open on desktop 2, it will be there when you switch to it.
The default key combinations you can use in Anti-Peeper Key are Alt + 1, that changes from one desktop to another and Alt + 2, which opens the Anti-Peeper Key interface.
By default Anti-Peeper Key is set to automatically launch at startup. If you don’t want Anti-Peeper Key to run at startup, you can change this default behaviour from the application’s interface.
Pros:
The interface is extremely simple and can be used by any type of user. Also, the program is very efficient, as it can hide the desktop at a push of a button and can restore it back the same way, remembering the positions of all the opened windows and programs.
Cons:
Advanced users might not be pleased by the lack of complex options.
Anti-Peeper Key is a great program for easy switching to a private desktop, helping you organize your work better.
